If Astrology is real then why aren't all us Virgos the same?
I remember years ago hearing of an experiment where people heard their horoscope for the day and had to say if they related to it or not. Most of them said they did only to find out that the researcher had been reading out the day's horoscope for a different zodiac sign. Just shows that it's all a load of nonsense right? Yes! Proof that it's all a joke! At least, that's what I thought when all I knew about was Sun signs.
Wait, astrology is more complex than just Sun signs then?
Yes! Just think of the solar system and imagine a planet within it - that planet has a role in astrology. Each planet has an influence on a different part of our personality and just like the day of the year you were born determining what part of the sky the Sun was in when you were born, the Moon, Mercury, Venus etc were all likely to be in different parts of the sky at that moment in time. This is why astrologers create a birth chart (aka a natal chart) to gain an insight into a client's personality.
But why would they want help from an Astrologer?
Life's a struggle and people consult astrologers for all sorts of reasons but a lot of people want to gain insight into why they act in certain ways, how to perhaps make things a bit less of a struggle and to help them have a think about what their purpose in this lifetime might be. Personally, learning of my own birth chart and my own astrological profile has allowed me to work with rather than against my natural personality. It's allowed me a level of self-acceptance and compassion for myself and for others that I was struggling with before.
