Top 5 Must-Have Astrology Decks for 2024 and Beyond

Can you have too many oracle decks?

That's a question that I ask myself quite a lot and I guess it depends if it's my heart or my head doing the talking.

Is it my Jupiter in Gemini telling me that I need to invest in more decks as it's essential for my career as an astrologer? Or is it my rational side that's telling me that I don't have the physical space?

Well, they don't take up that much space do they? And people are already asking me what they want to buy me for Christmas so they may aswell buy me something that I'd really like - that's rational!

But which to choose?

Well, I've limited myself down to the top 5. Some I have already and some are on my wishlist for this year. *hint hint Mum*

With beautiful, colorful and gemoetric designs, this oracle deck is certainly nice to look at but it's also good for those new to astrology. Each card has a one or two word meaning written on it so can be used as a study aid but not only that. Ruffle through the deck and find the cards that relate to placements in your chart, put them together and you've got an visual cue for starting to interpret. Then of course, you can use the aspect cards to see how parts of your chart interact.

Fantastic for those interested in shamanism and I'm told this is amongst the most gifted oracle decks. Great for those with a lot of earth energy to fuse the benefits of herbalism and astrology together.

Devised on the understanding 'as above, so below', the cards contain beautiful imagery relating to herb with each one showing astrological symbols to enable a greater understanding of both.

There is no way that I could leave out this beautiful deck. The lovely pastel vintage imagery is soothing to the eye whilst the cards have a theme of progression throughout. Each of the houses showing the journey of a bird to make the idea of the houses more accessible. The book is extremely easy to understand and the cards are lovely to shuffle and to hold.

Now, this deck has a special place in my heart as it was the first astrology deck I had and one which I got very early on in my astrology journey. Each one of the cards I would lay out on my bed whilst I tried to learn and get a grip of the basics. What I particularly love about this deck is that it is designed and made by a small business owner in France. Head over to etsy to check her out.

Lastly but certainly not least, I see this deck often on oracle reader's youtube channels and I really really want it but it's hard to get hold of in the UK. I'm hoping that I might be able to get it soon but what I love about this deck is that it really helps you get into the nitty gritty. For example, "Jupiter in Pisces: seduction". It works well for oracle readings too and not just for learning astrology like I've found the others

Are there any other decks that you'd add to this list? Do you have a favourite astrology deck? Let me know in the comments!
